How are things with you?! So much has changed since I last wrote to you. Aaron has started a new job, I am back at work and life is somewhat reluctantly returning to some kind of normality.
One thing that hasn’t returned to anywhere near normal is my eating patterns. The fact I cannot stop putting disgusting amounts of food in my mouth morning, noon and night. We aren’t talking about eating 3 meals a day and a few snacks. We are talking hobbit level meals (if you know, you know).
A snack before breakfast, PB on toast to tide me over until lunch, a few biscuits as an excuse to get up from my desk, bread and butter as I walk past to go to the loo etc etc etc.
You get the idea.
I do accept the body that I’m in. I am a petite lady and unfortunately that means even a slight weight gain my clothes will tell me. And honestly, I feel fluffy, constantly tired and getting the odd stomachache with a clogged up feeling. So, today I said enough.
Enough eating take-out because I cant think what to cook, enough eating out of boredom, enough eating foods that make me feel like rubbish.
So here I am pressing ‘reset’ for the next 10 days.
For the next 10 days here is the plan
One: a 10 day food plan. Full to the brim of healthy nutritious food that is actually exciting – following the Slimming World plan.
Two: Drink 1.5L of water
Three: Walk 3 times a day. This one is sort of cheating – I walk my pups 3 times a day and one of them in particular has to be walked at least 3 times or he turns into the spawn of Satan.
Keeping it simple I am following those three steps.
I am going to take my measurements tomorrow and blog everyday and hopefully by the end of the 10 days i will feel much more like myself.
